Okay - I'm Back Now

Work: We are working on our yearly Employee Service Award Ceremony. This time of year is always hectic for us. Also it seems like when Spring starts up people get crazy. Our poor employee relations section chief never has time, always someone in the office yelling or getting into trouble. Exciting place to be that's for sure. Always putting out fires it seems. For administrative professional's day Rich gave me flowers with a nice card and Patti gave me candy with a candy dish with a nice card (Lorraine called me a Brownie - to which we both bursted out laughing afterwards - she's just jealous). I have a feeling Rich and the Section Chiefs are planning a breakfast for the staff - isin't that nice! I like working with people, if someone need's help I'll be the first to jump in if you need it.

Home: Everything is growing! I love spring. I like to walk around and look at all of the flowers and stuff growing. I had a tick on me this spring already too! I hate ticks, always have, but I like to run around outside, in the woods, in the fields, you name it. We are supposed to be going to Florida in June with our friend from high school Gary and his wife, Carmen. I can't wait to see them. We've never gone on vacation with Carmen so this will be a first - but she's always seemed nice so I'm sure it will be fine. School is going well - semester should be over in 3 weeks!

Dan: He finally got us hooked up to DSL. At first we couldn't get his laptop to work until a day later when we figured out the little button on the side of his computer turned on/off the wireless access (DUH)! He bought some more trees that we planted as well as planted out some of the evergreens around the house. He's a busy guy. Did I tell you he's lost about 25 lbs? I know he's happy about it. He's working out and eating right and looks good. I have put on about 7 lbs! Aren't you proud! Six more for me to gain to be where I would like!
