MBTI
Stands for Myers Briggs Type Indicator. If you don't know what that is, it's a psychological assessment that identifies our natural preferences, strengths, and temperaments as it relates to careers. Sometimes people pay up to $500 to have this test done. Anyway I had one done (through work).... and this is what came up:
ISFP (introvert, sensing, feeling, perceiving) - "Retiring, quietly friendly, sensitive, kind, modest about their abilities. Shun disagreements, do not force their opinions or values on others. Usuallly do not care to lead but are often loyal followers. Often relaxed about getting things done because they enjoy the present moment and do not want to spoil it by undue haste or exertion."
My order of values were: achievement, support, the rest were scored the same (independence, recognition, relationships). Last was working conditions.
My career interests: conventional, artistic, and investigative.
I think I'll take the two assessments home and have Dan fill them out and see what he comes up with. I think we have the artistic similiarities and maybe can take some classes together (there's that support value). I'm not going to share what jobs I'm looking into yet. The three descriptions above can get you thinking!
