Halloween Happenings

I think the person who took this photo had one too many drinks!

This is Dan (who probably had too much too drink). That's me to the left - I came as a photographer and then borrowed Justins masks later (similar to Dan's here).

Home: I'm not a big Halloween person. Where we live we don't even get trick-or-treaters at our house. Maybe next year we will have a Halloween party, decorate, set up a small bonfire outside and invite friends, family, and neighbors (and some kids too)! We did go to Dan's friend Justin's house for a small party. There was this older couple there who "supposedly" made B movies - one called Chainsaw Sally I guess. They were kinda of strange. Can't figure out why in the world they would hang out with kids so much younger than themselves. Weird.

I think we've finally adjusted to Chief not being here. The house seems so quiet now though and both Dan and I hate coming home with nothing to greet us! I'm sure we will get another dog just want some time to not have to worry or take care of one yet.

Work: Same thing.... nothing too new. We are supposed to go to the Science Center for a Staff Development day this week. At least that gets us out. We just had a Boss's Day lunch. Turned out ok except I hate it when the caterer brings EXACTLY the amount you ordered. For example we had 13 people participate so there were exactly 13 SMALL pieces of chicken - not enough when people like more than 1 small tiny piece of meat. Oh well.... it worked out.

Dan: Brandon (the owner of the company) and Eric (somehow plays a role in all this) are working on starting up - I'll say a Division - to add to the company - they want Dan to run and somehow be business "partners". They went out Saturday to buy some equipment and look at vehicles. Today they are meeting with an accountant. Should be an interesting venture. Will keep you posted on how this all turns out.
