Summer Reading
This photo is from when we went to dinner and see Annie with my mom and sister.
HOME: When I don't have school during the summer I like to read a lot of books. I just read one (you can read it in a weekend) called AA-1025. It is about a French Catholic nurse who attends to an auto-crash victim (who dies). Since he had no identification she supposedly had to open his briefcase and found biographical notes. Basically the book is memoirs of an Anti-Apostle (a communist who was able to enter the priesthood with the intent to subvert and destroy the church from within). A facinating read. You can almost see how something like this could have happened and if it really is true the changes that were made over the years possibly due to people like this.
My other books are a fiction novel and some health books. If I finish them before the next semester I'll get more!
Chief is getting old. He can't walk very well anymore, we have to help him (kinda like an old man). The vet said he is about 85/90 in dog years. We are just trying to keep him comfortable.
Our friends have a boat and I was able to waterski (and go in and out of the wakes). Speaking of old, I am really feeling it today in my muscles. I need to rest!
DAN: Got a jet ski (used) so we've been playing with that too. He's frustrated with his snowmobile because if it didn't go fast then it wouldn't run. We'll be selling it this year at the snow show in York! We did find out in late March that Dan's mom has cancer. She has been receiving chemo treatments and seems to be doing very well. Will keep you posted.
WORK: Not too much going on!
