More Snowmobiling

We went to south central PA mid February with friends to go snowmobiling. We had a really good time. The snow there was softer and more of it. The only bad turnout was the restaurant that all the snowmobilers go to was closed due to fire (and will open in March). Maybe next year. It definately was scenic and I did well keeping up (50 mph at some points). I like my snowmobile - it's got handwarmers and feet warmers to keep me warm - and the helmet keeps my head warm so I didn't freeze!

Dan's is a racing snowmobile - when we would stop to decide on what trail to go on his would stall because it doesn't like to stop. Now he wants to trade his in!

It started to snow as we were riding and getting close to leaving - that was neat too. But I was tired at the end of the day and I know Dan was too because he had trouble keeping his eyes open on the way home. We must be getting old (it was only 9:00 ish)!

Snow Fun!

I had two days off because of snow! Yes, I had to have some fun - for Valentine's Day - we went snowmobiling around the house.... I made a nice hot pot of chicken soup (with rice, curry, cumin, coriander, apples, onions, garlic, etc) from a health magazine I had. Yummy. Turned out to be a nice day!
